How do you obtain your schedule for the first day of school?
Student Pictures Taken at Family BBQs
At the Family BBQs on Sept. 1 for 7th graders and Sept. 2 for 8th graders, 5:30-7:30 p.m., LifeTouch will be taking student pictures in the Auditorium. Students are encouraged to get their pictures taken at these events. Students who get their picture taken will receive their ID cards immediately! There will be a Picture Day Make-up on Sept. 27. Please ensure that students adhere to the iMiddle Dress Code that can be viewed in the Student Handbook under the "Students" section.
School Supplies for the 2010/2011 School Year
For your convenience, school supplies will be available for purchase at the Back to School Family BBQs- September 1st for 7th graders and September 2nd for 8th graders. Supply kits, which include the items below, will be available for purchase for $29.00 with ASB discounts. School supplies will also be available for purchase in the main office after Sept. 2nd. It is NOT required that you purchase these supplies from the school. We are only offering this option for your convenience.

New Orchestra Elective Course Offered to All Students
A new Orchestra elective course will now be offered to all students beginning fall, 2010. This is a beginning Orchestra course open to all ability levels led by Madison High School instructor Mr. Garcia. If you are interested in enrolling in this year long elective class, contact Nicola Krey, Vice Principal at nkrey@sandi.net or 858-278-5948. Space is limited.
Math Placement Test for Incoming 7th Graders
We will be delivering this assessment to 6th graders at our feeder schools during the first two weeks of June. Eligible students who meet the criteria will be invited to apply to enroll in Algebra in 7th Grade. There will be an additional application for those who are interested and will be delivered through your child's 6th Grade class.
4 Year High School Plan PowerPoint
This focuses on the High School requirements needed for college preparation. Each 8th grader has received this presentation from their counselor in their History classes. Several parent meeting have been scheduled beginning in January 2010. See calendar for specific dates.
