Proposition “S” is a $2.1 billion bond measure that the Board of Education is placing before the voters on the November 4th ballot. If approved by 55% of the voters, Proposition “S” will:
- Provide bond funds to repair and renovate our schools.
- Extend the current Proposition “MM” tax rate ($66.70 per $100,000 assessed value of taxable property), which expires in 2029, to 2044. This new bond will not increase the current tax.
- Provide funding for facility improvement projects at 180 school sites throughout the district.
Improvements for our school are specified in the bond resolution and are available on the district website at www.sandi.net/PropS.
