Principal's Message It is with great pleasure and honor that I write to you as the principal of the new Innovation Middle School (iMiddle). This is truly a remarkable opportunity to target our combined efforts on maximizing the engagement, achievement and character development of our children. We do so with incredible advantages. First, the staff of iMiddle combines passion, experience and respect for today’s youth along with a commitment to 21st century learning. In addition, we have the support of families, the community and businesses, as well as the San Diego Unified School District. Our dedicated focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) is designed to prepare our students to participate in an increasingly diverse and global society. By giving our students the resources to be challenged beyond the classroom walls, we fully intend to reach this amazingly ambitious goal. I welcome you to the 2008-2009 school year, our inaugural year together as a team. I invite you to become actively involved in helping us realize our promise of providing high quality, meaningful learning experiences for every single student, every single day.
